Community 4KM Obstacle Run 2019
The Sport Development team organised a 4km obstacle run on Sunday 17th March (2019) aimed at students, staff and external families.
The event saw 126 runners of a variety of ages running around the institution’s scenic grounds and tackling obstacles along the way, including; hay-bale hurdles, army crawls, tyre hops and more.
The event ran smoothly with registration, followed by a group warm-up before starting the run. Local mobile bar, The Final Furlong, and JB Ices ice-cream van were also down to add to the atmosphere on the day!
The event was a great success with positive feedback from participants and staff - "We are looking forward to hosting more events like this in the future so keep your eyes peeled for updates!"
"This was a fantastic event for the family - the kids thoroughly enjoyed it and wanted to go around again!" - Rachel "A great event with lots of energy, very well organised!" - James
