How do I join the gym?

To join the gym you will need to complete an induction and card registration. You can book your induction here.

Can I set up a new sports club?

Yes! We support any new clubs that students would like to participate in. In order to get the club started we ask that you produce a list of students wishing to participate and then come and see us or email us to get the ball rolling!

How do I join a sports club?

Joining one of our sports clubs couldn't be easier and membership is only £30 for the 2019/20 season* Download your membership form here and return it to the Sport and Recreation Centre.​ Your membership for 2019/20 includes:​

  1. Membership of a Sports club (you can join other clubs for an additional £10 per club)
  2. Access to training and facilities - no additional fees for training sessions
  3. Access to coaching (where coaching is applicable)
  4. BUCS competition entry fees*
  5. Transport to and from BUCS matches

Can I get involved in work for WUC Sport?

Yes! We engage with students to work within our onsite gym, as sport captains and sport reps. We also have a volunteer programme!

Can I use the sports hall in my free time/for recreational activity?

Yes, you are able to use the sports hall during the day for free time/recreational activities. Please speak to the Sport Development team to find out availability.

Can I borrow sports equipment?

Yes. Our equipment works on a sign in, sign out basis so please see the Sport Development team.
