Level 3: Outdoor Adventure

Health and outdoor adventure is a popular and expanding industry, with a growing range of job opportunities for people who want to work with scout and school groups, are passionate about sports and leading outdoor adventure activities and want to help others improve their quality of life.

 

Our two year, level 3 course is the equivalent to 3 A-levels and provides students with key life and employability skills to succeed in employment or higher education.

Extended Diploma - Year Two

  • Applied Leadership in Instructing Outdoor Activity

  • Research Project in Sport (Pearson Set)

  • Impacts and Sustainability of Outdoor Activities

  • Anatomy and Physiology in Sport

  • Fitness Training

  • Expedition Experience

Entry Requirements

  • 5 GCSEs grades: 7-4 (A-C) to include; English Language, Maths and a science... PE also desirable 

  • Good, positive school report

  • Good interview
