With exams on our doorstep and the new COVID variant looming, support staff at Writtle decided to put on a 'Festive Feel Good' programme for students and staff to de-stress, engage with different activities and increase physical activity over the two weeks leading up to Christmas.
The programme launched on Monday 6th December and has so far seen students receive study skills sessions, kung-fu, movie nights, carol singing, therapy dog sessions, health walks and more! This programme is FREE for students (and staff) to take part in during free periods in their day and evening.
The aim of this programme is to help promote positive mental wellbeing and provide a stress-free outlet and safe space, for students to talk and unwind during this busy and stressful time of year. Staff from support departments including sport development, wellbeing, student success, student union, the library and residential team worked hard to pull this programme together and spread some Christmas cheer!
