We pride ourselves on offering a variety of opportunities for students to gain paid work and work experience with us in sport development!

CURRENT CASUAL ROLES

Sport Activator (HIGHER EDUCATION STUDENTS ONLY)

We currently have 2 casual sport activator roles available for October 2023 - April 2024. 

The role requires the individual to facilitate our Sport Wednesday sessions from 2-4pm on a Wednesday afternoon. These sessions are based around movement and fun, therefore not requiring extensive knowledge or experience in sport!

You will be guided by the Sport Development Officer and provided with a Sport Activator T-Shirt. Sport Activators will receive £25 per session.

VOLUNTEER AND/OR GAIN WORK EXPERIENCE HOURS WITH US!

FOR FURTHER AND HIGHER EDUCATION STUDENTS ACROSS THE INSTITUTION.

 

Volunteering is not only GREAT for your CV, it also teaches you wider skills and gets you ready for employment! What are the benefits of volunteering with Sport Development?

  • Understand what it is like to work in different sporting environments (e.g. events, kids camps, tournaments)

  • Learn key skills such as; communication, organisation and time management

  • Clock your work experience hours doing something you enjoy

  • Have experience for future job applications

  • Have a reference for future job applications
